Olney's annual Awards Banquet typically falls right before Final Collection on the Thursday preceding Commencement. The evening is, for many members of the Olney community, the most emotional and powerful of the entire school year, and this year was no exception.

200 Organic Chickens Arrive on Campus
After considerable effort and volunteer hours, Olney's new broiler house is now complete. The first residents of the house are 200 organic chicks that arrived in mid-April. A special thanks to everyone who donate their time and labor to making this project possible!

Eric Lundblade: Marathon Man
Olney Friends School congratulates humanities teacher Eric Lundblade for placing 631st out of nearly 31,000 runners at the 2016 Boston Marathon. Eric finished the race with a time of 2:52:11.

Tradition Meets Tumbling at Gym Ex 2016
On a chilly Friday evening last March, Liarucha Zahnke-Basuki performed in her first Gymnastics Exhibition at Olney Friends School. Toward the end of the event, she stood in the gymnasium doorway, holding back tears as she watched members of the class of 2015 perform their senior skit.
