Passport to Fishing: July 13th

Belmont Soil and Water Conservation District is holding a Passport to Fishing program on Wednesday, July 13th from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. This free program will be held at the Olney Friends School's Livezy Lake, located at 61830 Sandy Ridge Road, Barnesville, Ohio. Registration will begin at 8:45 a.m.

The Passport to Fishing program is sponsored by the Ohio Division of Wildlife. This program educates all ages on casting, safety, knot-tying and rigging, fish habitat and handling, fishing regulations, and how to read a map.

All ages are welcome to participate in this program. Participants 17 years of age and younger will receive a free fishing pole with completion of the course. Please bring the sunscreen and dress appropriately for the weather. This program is limited to the first 15 participants.
