Head of School, Christian Acemah, is grateful that Aïda accepted Olney’s invitation to speak as the school prepares to bid farewell to the class of 2019. "It is incredible that our class of 2019 will have Aida as its commencement speaker. She is an incredible human being with a depth that all millennials ought to aspire to. From her roots in Francophone Africa in Senegal to her current role at Facebook, Aida is a shining example of what it means to lead an intentional, examined life. Her presence at Olney shall be yet another special thing for us to celebrate this year."

In the days leading up to Commencement, there will be a variety of activities for the families, alumni, and the Olney community to enjoy. These include a silent auction, class reunions, a bonfire, a pick-up game of basketball, and multiple meals celebrating the achievements of the class of 2019. All members of the class of 2019 have been accepted to U.S. colleges and universities.
